Down on the Dairy

One very hot summer day the boys and I ventured 20 miles south to Firth, Nebraska for the Prairieland Dairy Days.
The entire event was free, and therefore packed.  But we had the patience to wait in line for homemade ice cream.
And for Bug to take a barrel ride.  He was so very brave and I was so very proud of him for riding all by himself.
Bear and I waited and watched in the burning down sun.  Bear was very concerned where his "Bubba" was going and pointed for him and shouted, "Bubba? Bubba?" the whole time he was out of sight.
The corn box was a hit, and in the shade.

Three weeks later we still have dried ice cream in our stroller, but it was worth it.  The cold chocolate milk helped.

I wish you lived closer and you could be my personal quilting teacher. You do such a great job.

I can't believe how big your boys are getting. They sure are handsome little guys.

In response to the banner lettering question. I ironed pellon to the back of my fabric, printed off size 100 font off the computer, traced them and then cut them out. It was a bit tedious, but it didn't actually take too long.

As always, it's great to hear from you!

We loved going there last year. It was a blast. Too bad we couldn't be there with you guys. Emerson still talks about bug all the time. Today he said that they both were lawyers.
