T-Ball

Have I mentioned before how obsessed Bug is with organized sports?  He LOVES them.  I tried to get him on a Tee Ball team last summer, but his age group ended up having Sunday games, so we took him out.  But this year they are on Saturday! This kid is seriously in heaven playing tee ball, and obessed with everything to do with baseball.  We loaded the free version of MLB.TV onto our Roku box and he will sit and watch the free games until the team he is cheering for starts to loose.
The following is my new favorite picture.  The perfect game face.

Family and Time

Bear learned about ears in his Sunbeams class and came home with these.  As soon as we walked in the house he wanted to write "Spy Ears" on them.  I could not get over how adorable he looked wearing them.
He has really taken to his baby Sis the past few weeks.  Up until now, he didn't pay much attention to her, but now he plays with her so sweetly.  I love watching them begin to build a friendship.
Belle is growing up way too fast.  She acts like a little kid instead of a baby these days.  Even though she can't talk in words we can understand, she babbles all day and has the cutest expressions.  Tonight she gave her first family prayer and it was heart melting.  She "knelt" down (lays her whole body flat on the floor) and Daddy prompted her to start.  She then proceeded to jabber a few "sentences" and then said "amen".  Afterwards she got up, pointed to the floor, squinted her eyes, and blabbered all about how she had just said the prayer.
Her cheese face:
It seriously blows my mind that this was her one year ago.  Some days can seem to go on and on, but in reflection I recognize how brief this mortal life really is.  I feel so grateful to know that families can last through the eternities.

Omaha Zoo

The Omaha Zoo is ranked one of the top zoos in the nation, and it does not disappoint.  We have been having perfect weather here for a couple of weeks so we took advantage of it headed up to the zoo with our friends.

Belle saying cheese for the camera.  The boys were dying laughing when they saw this picture of her.
Despite her lack of vocabulary (Mama, Dada, "Bubba"-brothers, "Mo"-more), she is quite full of facial expressions and incoherent jabbering.
A & Baby H seconds before they were head-butted by the goat.

May

Belle experiencing the Children's Zoo.
Bear has been begging to get the turtle pool out all winter.  We finally had a day hot enough, so I gave both of the boys buzz cuts and then they splashed the day away.

Grammy: This picture is for you.   Bug got completely undressed and put this get-up on.  He then requested I take a picture of him and send it to you. :)
