Spring Soccer

Bug played his first season of YMCA soccer this year.  He has really enjoyed it and we have loved watching him.  Today was his last game and he played the best we've seen him, despite the fact that he got NAILED in the stomach by the ball and got the wind knocked out of him.  We were so happy that after a short break he was ready to get back in and play......he took a ball to the stomach again, but finished out the game.  It was 90 degrees here today so he was wiped out when it was all said and done with, but we were so proud of him!

Sewing

I am part of a MOPS group (Mother's of Pre-Schoolers) here in town and I made this for an end of the year raffle.  There is a queen sized bed in Belle's room that I assume will become her bed when she is old enough and I am making a quilt like this for it.  This quilt was used with some of the left over squares.

This dress was made from an old Girl's Camp T-shirt using a tutorial from MADE.  I actually made this before I was pregnant with Belle, in hopes that I would eventually have a little girl to put it on.  I have decided that dresses are very silly for babies who can't sit yet. They are always scrunched way up.  Good thing I also made one that should fit her next summer.
