Baby Belle

Here is the almost 40 week belly.  I was scheduled to go in last Monday morning to be induced
but ended up going into labor around 2 that morning. By the time I showed up for my induction I was already to 5 cm.
By that time my labor drastically slowed down even though my doctor had broken my water when I arrived so they started a slow drip of petocin and I got my epidural....heavenly.  Labor picked up quickly from there. Once I was ready I only had to push through about 2 contractions and in less than 5 minutes she was out.  Can I just say how much EASIER labor and recovery gets with each child?
First seconds of life, first breaths, first screams. I am amazed at how instantly you fall in love with a new child.
She has a perfect tiny head and lots of chub!
She weighed in a 8 lbs 6 oz and 20" long.  Right in the middle of the sizes of Bug and Bear.
    Daddy with his little girl.
Excited big brothers, but they couldn't get too close because they were sick. :( Talk about bad timing!
Bug was sooo proud to show off his shirt at the hospital.  He took his jacket off as soon as he walked inside so that every one could read it.  Bear's didn't make it through the day without getting dirty.  Thank you Grammy and Pops!
My mom and dad took care of the boys for us during the day while I was at hospital and Bond was with either with me or at school.  I was nervous about staying overnight by myself but our hospital was SO good and I was feeling really well compared to the last two deliveries so it ended up being a lot better than I thought.

Belle a couple of hours old.
After her first bath.

Chunky Monkey!  Ready to get dressed and head home.
I still can't believe that I actually have a little girl. She has stolen our hearts already.

If you want to know her name, you can FB or email me. :)

Meet My Nephew

This is Rex.  He was born when I was nine.  We were tight.
I have lots of great memories of when he was little.
Now he is all grown up and leaving to serve a two year mission for our church tomorrow.
Brazil is gonna love you bud.  I am so proud of you.

Independence Day Weekend

We were so happy to have our family from Tennessee drive up for the holiday (minus Grammy...we missed you!).  Bug was more than thrilled to have his two AWESOME uncles to play with.  Here is what our weekend looked like:
Red, White, and Blue get-up.
 Ward Breakfast and Parade.
Toy Story 3!!!
Water fights.
Tents inside the house.
Lots of boys.
Fireworks.
Fireworks.
And more fireworks.  That is 25,000 firecrackers you're looking at.  Yep that's right, our neighborhood doesn't mess around.  We heard/saw/smelt/dreamt fireworks for about three days straight.
Thanks for coming Pops, Uncle Grayson, and Uncle Sam! We love you and Bug has us all pretending to be one of you as we go about our day. (I get to be you, Grammy...cause we are both "Grils!")

May Catch-Up

Learning about teeth.
(And how to rot them with marshmallows.)
Tender Family Home Evening Moments.
Putting Bear to work.                                      Being resourceful with a puzzle piece as a paci.
Getting dressed and ready for church is quite the ordeal.   Worthy of a picture.

Staycation

Bond had lots do over his Spring Break, so he had to go to his office everyday to study, but we made the most of it by creating a mini-vacation. Each day the boys and I went to pick Daddy up for a couple of hours to explore the fun things to do around town.
St. Patty's Day, hence the green clothes.Bookstore.
We also ate at a Gyro place that made me feel like I was in NYC. It was crowded, stunk of body odor, and was scummy, but served delicious food. :)
All in all, a great week.

After Church

I just think Bear looks so cute and grown up in these pictures.
Bug insisted on taking a picture of the three of us after he got his taken. Not too shabby.

Special Visit

Bond received a new calling at church to serve as a Stake High Councilor so Pops flew in for the weekend to ordain him as a High Priest. It was great to have him stay with us even if only for a couple of days. We miss our families!
